Congratulations on your acceptance. We wish you a wonderful experience. Here are some important tips that will help you at the start.

  • In these guidelines, your supervisor refers to the graduate student assigned to you by Dr. Tasoglu. Dr. Tasoglu is referred to as PI (not supervisor).
  • Plan your working schedule with your supervisor. Let them know your availability through the week/semester.
  • Ask your supervisor to add you to their weekly research meeting if you are qualified at the time.
  • Always communicate with your supervisor before coming to the lab and let them know one day in advance that you will come to the lab.
  • Follow the guidelines in the guidelines webpage for ID card authentication and weekly UG meetings.
  • Send an email to UG Leader 1 (see contact information) and make sure you received an invitation for weekly UG meetings.
  • Do not hesitate to ask questions, share your concerns whenever you have any. Please follow the rules on how to write your emails. You can find contact information on the contact information page under general information.
