If you want to pursue an independent study and got permission from PI, you can fill out the form below. Follow guidelines on the form while creating your syllabus but mainly focus on a brief project description (on the topic currently assigned) in the form of an article abstract (with future tense). An example syllabus as such is provided below.

If you have an ongoing paper draft, please feel free to directly use the abstract you wrote, there’s no need to write another abstract.

After creating your syllabus and filling out the form, get it signed by your PI. Then create service request to your faculty through KUSIS.
